Here are some of the plug ins that I have found most useful and easy to use.

First is an Adsense plug in.With this one you need to add a short code where you want it in a post. You change the code in the Plug-ins editor in your Wordpress admin. This is the easiest way to add the code to your posts.http://philhord.com/wp-hacks/adsense

The All in One SEO Pack This plug in helps do META tags a lot easier and faster, Downside it is being updated often so uploading the files about once a month or so may be necessary. You can check their change long to see if it is something you feel you need.

A fun one is Commentluv which is a comment plug in that searches the commenter’s last post and adds a link to it. Since I installed this I have noticed an increase of comments. http://www.fiddyp.co.uk/commentluv-wordpress-plugin/

Another good commenter one is, the DoFollow strips the Nofollow rule off your blog so commenter’s URLs get followed by spiders/robots. http://kimmo.suominen.com/sw/dofollow/

To get more return visitors and get conversation going on your posts then a good one is Subscribe To Comments it helps http://txfx.net/code/wordpress/subscribe-to-comments/

If you are a member of My Blog Log then you may want to use the MyAvatars it puts their picture on their comments.http://www.napolux.com/2006/12/14/myavatars-a-wordpress-plugin-for-mybloglog/

I prefer to use feed burner for my RSS feeds, if you do then FeedBurner FeedSmith is a good one. This is mentioned when you sign up your feedhttp://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/help/wordpress_quickstart

If you don’t want your full post on your front or category page and only a snippet then using the Full Text Feed http://cavemonkey50.com/code/full-feed/ sends the full feed to your RSS feeds rather then just the little bit, Another one that works well is the Post Teaserhttp://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-teaser/ You can put only show 100 words before the cut off. so that is all that is shown on front page but the feed is the full article.

For Podcasters podPress is a great one to use to add your audio and video to your post it will also ping a few of the top podcast directories that you have posted. http://www.mightyseek.com/podpress/

If you have pages that you don’t want the whole world to see like thank you pages then using the Page Link Manager is a good idea you check what pages you want on your menu or navigation bar and the ones not checked will not show up on there.http://gmurphey.com/2006/10/05/wordpress-plugin-page-link-manager/

If your an affiliate marketer then the Redirection plug in is a good one. You just add the url you want to target then where you want it to go. This creates a few different redirect codes (301 and the others) within the drop down menu. Makes it easier then adjusting the htaccess or adding new pages to use php or java redirects.http://urbangiraffe.com/plugins/redirection/

A good one especially with niche blogs is the Related Posts it shows readers similar posts that you have written so they are able to get more information on that topic http://www.w-a-s-a-b-i.com/archives/2006/02/02/wordpress-related-entries-20/

If you are in to social book marking I prefer the Share This http://alexking.org/projects/wordpressplug in, There are a few out there this one is just the one I prefer to use. it has more options with a click. I know Katherine uses I Love Social Bookmarking http://www.milienzo.com/wordpress-plugins/i-love-social-bookmarking/ on this blog. There are several out there so my suggestion is to just see which you prefer.

Please share yours :)

Tamara, thank you very much for this comprehensive list of plug-ins! It is very helpful, especially to a blogging newbie, such as myself, to know which ones are good to use on our blog!

I appreciate the time it took you to compile this and thank you once again for sharing this info!

The need for specificity is nearly completely met by regular practice and training within the sport not in the strength and conditioning environment. ,

In effect, a dual-processor hyper-threaded machine provides four processors and serves as better test system. ,
